On Thursday, February 22, 2012; AT&T held it's event "28 Days" celebrating Black History Month. Notables such as the keynote speaker for the night Desiree Rogers and Rapper/Actor Common who hosted the event showed their support of LaNiyah's book and her overall message.
The highlight of the night came when former White House Press Secretary, Desiree Rogers who is now the CEO of Johnson Publishing (Ebony/Jet/Fashion Fair Cosmetics) took to the stage and spoke about LaNiyah's courageousness and her being an inspiration to many with her book.
They even posed for pictures. R&B singer, Syleena Johnson was also at the event and supported LaNiyah's movement.....
Enjoy!
